Since today is my birthday it seems appropriate to talk about one of my favorite desserts, cupcakes. We spent New Years week in Washington DC visiting Nana and Granddaddy. During our visit we decided to drive to Georgetown and visit Georgetown Cupcake, the cupcake bakery featured on TLC's DC Cupcakes show. This was mainly a treat for me Maddy because she enjoys watching the show and both girls love cupcakes. Sophie and Katharine, the owners, were not at the bakery that day but we did get to watch the bakers work and we bought a dozen cupcakes to go. They were delicious!
