June 19th was Father's Day and Granddaddy's birthday. He could have chosen to do anything he wanted on his special day but he chose to stay at home and grill for his girls. These are a few of my favorite pictures from that day....

Granddaddy loves to "build" things and his latest home project was the installation
of an outdoor shower below their deck. Seems kinda odd but the girls loved it.
The web album has complete pictures of the "shower".
Seems like Granddaddy should be the one lying around under an umbrella, reading a book, but somehow Maddy ended up relaxing while he grilled lunch....
I love this picture...
After lunch Granddaddy took the girls to the local park to play and ride the train.
I wonder if this is the same look Maddy will have
in 15 years when Kate is driving a real car?!?
Yet another birthday cake that's not Maddy's but she figured
out a way to make a wish and blow out the candles.
And this is just cute...
None of these creatures belong on this couch.
But even Nana couldn't say no to that goofy grin. :-)
